Call me Tiger! I am a young adult artist growing my roots in the rich soil of rural Minnesota. I specialize in animal and creature artwork.
One of my largest inspirations is the natural world, although I tend to be more than a little imaginative with my interpretations of it. I find myself drawing the animals closest to me most often, but I'm moved to draw pretty much every plant, creature, and landscape. The weirder the better, if you ask me!
Another large influence on my art are the current relationships I hold dear; the potential energy of connections I have yet to make; and gratitude for the people who have given me time, energy, and love at all points in my life. I believe everyone has an inherent worth, and that the world is big enough to give love to everyone.
For the most part my work can be separated into "realistic" and "cartoony". I enjoy both digital art and traditional art, and constantly play with new styles and mediums. I don't believe in ascribing to a certain style of drawing if it will limit my growth. That being said, my favorite digital brush is the pixel brush, and my favorite traditional medium are alcohol ink markers!
To me, art is something that you can never be good enough at or the best at. It's my honest opinion that all art has value, no matter at what skill level it is done, and that learning and play is a core component to creativity.
But more than anything, art is best when it's shared. Have fun exploring my site!
