Ratdogs is now under semihiatus.

Because semihiatus is a word I just made up now, I'll further define what this entails:

• Regular, monthly updates are postponed.
• Orders will continue to be filled, and monthly free randoms can still be claimed.
• New markings, items, premades, and features will still be released, but not on a consistent schedule.
  

New markings and features will be released as soon as they are completed and implemented. New items will be released no less than 30 days after a previous item set(s) has been released, so that everyone has a fair chance of obtaining them. Premades, as well, will be released no less than 30 days after a previous set.

The actual production of releases may increase or it may decrease, depending on a variety of personal factors. However, under this new schedule, they'll get to you faster when they do occur. Additionally, it keeps the pressure of deadlines from bruising my paper-thin mental health.

I'm inspired and ambitious to continue this project, and I'm truly sorry to post this update. I have big plans and ideas for ratdogs which include more than doubling the current amount of markings, several events and giveaways, rereleasing retired items, substantial website coding updates, and maybe even new linearts and/or breeds. (I suppose I'm listing these just to tantalize the masses.) My limits are more external than internal at this point in development, if that makes sense.

Thank you all sincerely for ordering and sharing ratdogs. It's humbling that even one of you has decided to participate in my little pet project. I'm grateful beyond words.
